About me
I studied Philosophy at the University of Málaga, and later studied two masters degrees in Philosophy and Applied Sociology at the same university. Back then, I started to feel oriented towards the potential of quantitative research methods in the domain of applied ethics, and how the evidence they offer can enrich current political and social debates.
I currently hold a PhD position at the University of Granada, thanks to a grant from the Spanish Ministery of Science. My research focuses on migration ethics, exploring how values operate in multicultural contexts and how morality mediates intergroup conflict and exclusionary reactions towards the immigrant population. Additionally, I collaborate with many other colleagues who are interested in the application of empirical and experimental methods to bioethics and applied ethics such as end-of-life, consent, or attitudes towards AI.
